COMMENTS:
A coronal mass ejection (CME) from the Sun hit Earth and sparked a geomagnetic storm in the northern skies of Kalamazoo on December 14th.  The Geminid Meteor Shower peaked the night before, but I did see some meteors shoot through the aurora.  Unfortunately, none were captured in any of my images! This image was featured on the main page of SpaceWeather on December 15, 2006 and many news broadcasts.  So, oddly enough, this may be my most viewed image ever!
