COMMENTS:
The Waxing Gibbous Moon greeted me through a nearby pine tree while I let my dog, Elliot, out to go about his business in the backyard.  Seeing as I haven't taken a single astrophoto yet this year, I thought it would be fun to grab the camera and telescope and take some shots.  You can view a full resolution close-up of the Moon here.
